Analytics platform builds authority and trust amongst partners and their customers
Audit achievement comes as part of risk management-orientated program, which has also seen the SaaS business obtain Cyber Essentials Plus certification and renew ISO 27001:2022

Surveil is proud to announce that it has achieved SOC2 Type 2 accreditation, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing commitment to Risk Management in cloud optimization. The official certification demonstrates Surveil’s dedication to providing a secure cloud-based analytics platform that prioritises data protection for its partners and their customers.

With a security-first approach, Surveil’s high-performance cloud analytics and insights platform was built to be exclusively read-only with multiple, layered controls, including in-transit and at-rest data encryption to protect customer data. However, as security risks are constantly evolving in sophistication and more users rely on Surveil’s powerful cloud optimisation insights, the SaaS business implemented a risk management-orientated programme. Understanding that continuous improvement is a key factor of successful security management, Chief Information Security Officer, Laurence Dale, has spearheaded the Security & Compliance programme to ensure that Surveil remains at the forefront of industry best practice across people, process, and technology.

SOC2 compliance is just one of several measures that has been undertaken as part of this programme to bolster Surveil’s security posture. Alongside Cyber Essentials Plus certification and its ISO 27001:2022 renewal, Surveil continues to ensure that its partners benefit from top-tier security measures.

“We’ve built Surveil with security at the core of its design, ensuring our partners and their customers can always rely on our platform,” said Laurence Dale, Surveil’s Chief Information Security Officer. “SOC2 is another powerful demonstration of that commitment, and with Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001, we are continuously improving our security posture to stay ahead of emerging risks.”

By meeting stringent SOC2 requirements, the Surveil’s cloud analytics platform is proven to help reduce the risk of cyber-attacks and data breaches, making Surveil a more secure, reliable, and trustworthy solution for its partners.

Looking ahead, Surveil plans to build on this momentum by pursuing compliance with additional global security frameworks, further ensuring that its partners and customers benefit from industry-leading security measures.

What SOC2 Accreditation Means for Surveil and Its Partners

SOC2 (Service Organization Control 2) is an auditing standard developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) to ensure that service providers like Surveil manage data securely and protect the privacy of their clients and their customers. SOC2 audits are based on five Trust Service Criteria: security, availability, confidentiality, processing integrity, and privacy. Surveil successfully met all five of these criteria, reinforcing its role as a trusted leader in cloud analytics security.
