Enhanced Copilot Intelligence

Surveil continues to strengthen Copilot visibility with enhanced candidate and usage experiences designed to help organizations make smarter licensing decisions and measure real engagement across Microsoft 365.
The updated Copilot Candidate Users page makes it easier to identify who should be licensed next and where existing licenses may be underutilized. New KPI cards show available licenses, strong candidates, likely candidates, and low-activity users who may be better suited for reassignment. A refreshed candidates-only table now stack ranks users by Copilot Candidate Score, helping teams prioritize deployment based on objective signals.
The enhanced Copilot Usage page adds deeper visibility into how licensed users are engaging with Copilot across Microsoft 365 apps. New KPI cards track total interactions, recent interactions, active users, and average actions per user. Expanded trend views, Smart Tag filtering, and usage breakdowns by app and task category help teams understand not just where Copilot is being used, but how it is contributing to day-to-day work.
👉 Why it matters: Copilot adoption is only valuable when organizations can connect licensing decisions to real usage and measurable business impact. These enhancements help IT, finance, and license managers prioritize high-value candidates, identify underutilized licenses, focus enablement where adoption support is needed, and strengthen ROI conversations with objective interaction data.
Action required: To access the enhanced Copilot Usage page, Microsoft 365 admins must consent to the new API permission: AiEnterpriseInteraction.Read.All. Admins can complete this in the Customer Portal under Platform Settings > Office 365 > Add missing permissions. After consent is granted, please allow time for data to accumulate before it appears in the updated experience. If either page was previously bookmarked, remove the existing bookmark and navigate to the updated screen directly.
